“Keep watering yourself. You’re growing.” — E.Russell

I choose to be formless. A shape without a shape. A being without a being. A body that is my own and never yours to control.

I choose to be naked. To show my skin however I want and with who I want. A body that was gifted to me. A body that I want to feel what it means to be alive and live by the rules I design.

I choose to be bare-knuckled and raw. My words come out as viper’s venom when angry and silk when happy. My tongue dances to a beat of its own drum conducted by the maestro in my core.

I choose to be elegant. I dress myself in the fabric that fits my personality and the way I want to be seen. My clothes define who I am and I define them. With each movement I make putting them on and taking them off, I am the product of my own well crafted design.

I choose to be emotional. I am a Rubik’s cube of personality. As quickly as I am happy is just as quick as I am sad. I change colors, flipping vertically and horizontally. I am never the same way twice and always find my mark.

I choose to establish boundaries. The line in the sand says “Do Not Cross.” Heed those words I speak loudly and assertively. My happiness thrives with this mindset and is watered by my own desire to remain so.

I choose to be loved. For so long the words of others have did their best to manipulate me into what they wanted; they thought they were crafting a well oiled machine but what they got was a blazing fire that can not be tamed. The love I choose is not from others it is for myself.

I choose to be formless. A shape without a shape. A being without a being. A body that is my own and never yours to control.
